Dalkia Industry CZ (formerly NWR Energy) supplies and distributes electricity and produces heat, hot water, and compressed air for coal mining in mines of OKD, the largest mining company in the Czech Republic.

Change in heat supply for homes

A change in heat supply to households has been implemented at Dalkia in the Czech Republic Group with effect from 1 September 2011. The parent company, Dalkia Česká republika, has taken over the supply to 21,000 apartments in the north of Moravia from Dalkia Industry CZ, the former service provider. The North Moravia Region newly supplies heat to homes in Ostrava while the Karviná Division supplies heat to apartments in Karviná and Havířov.





The subsidiary CZECH-KARBON changes name and address

CZECH-KARBON, a subsidiary of Dalkia Industry CZ and one of the leading traders on the Czech electricity market, has a new registered office and name with effect from 1 August. Newly named Dalkia Commodities CZ, it has moved to the centre of Ostrava at 28. října 3337/7 where the registered office of its parent company, Dalkia Česká republika, has been situated since mid-June.





Dalkia Industry CZ Changes Registered Office

Dalkia Industry CZ officially changes the address of its registered office as of 15 July 2011. The new address is: Zelená 2061/88a, Ostrava, Mariánské Hory, Postal Code: 709 74. The change is without prejudice to the validity of any deeds bearing the previous address of the registered office of the company. Along with the change in the address of the registered office, the relevant telephone numbers are also changed. The new telephone number for Dalkia Industry CZ is: +420 556 206 521.



NWR Energy and its subsidiaries already belong to the Dalkia Group

NWR Energy became the latest acquisition of the Dalkia Group in the Czech Republic on 21 June 2010, under its new name of Dalkia Industry CZ. The purchase agreement between Dalkia Česká republika and the parent company, New World Resources (NWR), was executed as early as in January 2010; however, the transfer of the 100-percent stake in NWR Energy was only executed after the approval of the deal issued by the relevant anti-trust authorities. As part of the transaction, Dalkia also acquired ownership over two of its subsidiaries: CZECH-KARBON and NWR Energetyka PL, whose names changes to Dalkia Powerline. The Dalkia Group will thus acquire approximately 400 new employees. “The acquisition of NWR Energy represents an important and logical step in the implementation of our long-term strategy. The new company provides us with a global mining and industrial reference”, said Mr Laurent Barrieux, the Country Manager of the Dalkia Group in the Czech Republic.
